Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections.
I have been testing a new brand of glass and this white (slighter brighter version) version clearly needed a lower temperature than my other brand of glass as a small amount of devit can be seen during a bright light and at some angles – really difficult to see and photography (devit is unwanted crystals forming on the glass – this instance it looks like tree branches). It is very subtle and probably wouldn’t even notice this but as i have noticed this, then I have classed these as seconds (see close up photo).

Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; there can be minor imperfections in the glass, these are created naturally in the kiln firing process.
