UK SHIPPING

The website calculates the Postage based upon the product weight and packaging size (PIP) inline with Royal Mails pricing and try to make them as minimal as possible. If you notice the postage charges do not look quite right, please let me know and I can check and fix accordingly.

Items are usually posted within 1-2 working days of placing your order (unless they are made to order or allowed back-order items) and you will receive a confirmation email once shipped. All UK items are usually sent via Royal Mail 48 Tracked as standard which normally takes 2-3 working days. If you have a specific deadline e.g. birthday or wedding then please drop me a message and I will do my best to try and get your order to you on time.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Most Countries are enabled already through the website, but if you are unable to checkout, please contact me with the details and I can let you know what is available. All packages are sent tracked so either party can see the delivery progress.

Please note the buyer is responsible for any import tax/duties when receiving into your Country. If you are unsure how much you will be charged, please contact your own country’s import tax website for more information.

I have spent many hours testing packaging to ensure your items arrive with you in perfect condition (so far everything has arrived around the world undamaged). In the unlikely event that a product is damaged during transit, please take photos of the damage (including the outside box) and contact me within 48 hours of delivery.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS (Pottery)

Hand wash verses Dishwasher
My pottery is high fired meaning that it is fine to put in the dishwasher, however to keep your pottery glazes looking their best I advise to hand wash where ever possible. There is also a greater risk of ceramics getting chipped or cracked in dishwashers due to items clanking together during the cycle.

Hand washing is always kinder to hand made ceramics, and the chemicals in dishwashers can be very harsh and will scratch the glazes over time (this is why clear glass can often look dull after many washes in a dishwasher).

Microwaves
All the glazes I use are microwave safe but just to be sure, each new style of mug i create, is initially tested in the microwave just to be safe.

SUSTAINABILITY & PACKAGING

I work very hard to minimise my impact on the environment both personally and within my business.

I use cardboard boxes which are either recycled or from FSC responsible sources- both completely recyclable. I am working on finding an alternative to bubble wrap and use as little as possible whilst still keeping the work safe. If any bubble wrap or packing peanuts are used, then they have already been recycled and used before (I do not buy these – they are either donated from friends or received from parcels that I have I have been sent). If possible, please reuse the packaging so it can used again and again. The majority of packaging will be shredded cardboard and I aim to be completely plastic free.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

I measure and describe each item carefully, so please read descriptions for dimensions, sizes, usage and care instructions etc before making your purchase. Please check you are happy with all the dimensions and volumes in the listing before placing your order.

Made to order items: All my glass and pottery items are handmade, therefore every one is unique, I celebrate the individual characteristics of each piece. No two items will ever be exactly the same. I do my best to match items to the pictures listings but due to various processes they will vary and may be slightly different in size, colour or finish.  If you are not completely happy with an item received please do get in touch.

If you would like to return an item that is not suitable please let me know before sending so I can advise and look out for it. Return shipping costs are your responsibility and I would advise sending back using a delivery confirmation service in case the item is lost or delayed sending back. I can not accept items returned after 14 days of receipt or for custom made orders. When received back a refund can be completed (excluding any charged postage costs).

If in the unfortunate your item has arrived damaged, please take photos of the outside box and the damaged contents and email them to me within 3 days of delivery. I want you to be entirely happy with your glass or pottery and I will do my utmost to make sure you are 100% happy with your experience of buying my work. If you do need to get in touch, please use the email address on the contact page, details from my business card that was included with your delivery, or your confirmation email at time of order and I will try my best to rectify it if I can.
