Standard Shipping is FREE to the UK.

Items are usually posted within 1-2 working days of placing your order (unless they are made to order or allowed back-order items) and you will receive a confirmation email once shipped. All UK items are usually sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class as standard which normally takes 2-3 working days. If you have a specific deadline e.g. birthday or wedding then please let me know in the buyers notes and I will do my best to try and get your order to you on time.

I am currently looking into shipping abroad and the website is able to accept some Countries already. If you are unable to checkout, please contact me with the details and I can let you know what is available.

Covid19 Update September 2020: Please note that Canada Post can take up to 3 months for your item arrive due to a massive backlog with arriving post into the Country. All other Countries I have posted to so far are coping well and arriving within around 1-3 weeks.

I have spent many hours testing packaging to ensure your items arrive with you in perfect condition (so far everything has arrived around the world undamaged). In the unlikely event that a product is damaged during transit, please take photos of the damage (including the outside box) and contact me within 48 hours of delivery.

Hand wash verses Dishwasher
My pottery is high fired meaning that it is fine to put in the dishwasher, however to keep your pottery glazes looking their best I advise to hand wash where ever possible. There is also a greater risk of ceramics getting chipped or cracked in dishwashers due to items clanking together during the cycle.

Hand washing is always kinder to hand made ceramics, and the chemicals in dishwashers can be very harsh and will scratch the glazes over time (this is why clear glass can often look dull after many washes in a dishwasher).

All the glazes I use are microwave safe but just to be sure, each new style of mug i create, is initially tested in the microwave just to be safe.

I work very hard to minimise my impact on the environment both personally and within my business.

I use cardboard boxes which are either recycled or from FSC responsible sources- both completely recyclable. I am working on finding an alternative to bubble wrap and use as little as possible whilst still keeping the work safe. If any bubble wrap or packing peanuts are used, then they have already been recycled and used before (I do not buy these – they are either donated from friends or received from parcels that I have I have been sent). If possible, please reuse the packaging so it can used again and again. The majority of packaging will be shredded cardboard and I aim to be completely plastic free.

The plastic sleeves on the greeting cards can be composted in your normal household recycling collections. The supplier is constantly looking into alternatives like starch versions, but as yet these are not suitable for the UK weather environment.

I measure and describe each item carefully, so please read descriptions for dimensions, sizes, usage and care instructions etc before making your purchase. Please check you are happy with all the dimensions and volumes in the listing before placing your order.

Made to order items: All my glass and pottery items are handmade, therefore every one is unique, I celebrate the individual characteristics of each piece. No two items will ever be exactly the same. I do my best to match items to the pictures listings but due to various processes they will vary and may be slightly different in size, colour or finish.  If you are not completely happy with an item received please do get in touch.

If you would like to return an item that is not suitable please let me know before sending so I can advise and look out for it. I can not accept items returned after 14 days of receipt or for custom orders and return shipping is your responsibility (unless the item is faulty).

If in the unfortunate your item has arrived damaged, please take photos of the outside box and the damaged contents and email them to me within 3 days of delivery. I want you to be entirely happy with your glass or pottery and I will do my utmost to make sure you are 100% happy with your experience of buying my work. If you do need to get in touch, please use the email address on the contact page, details from my business card that was included with your delivery, or your confirmation email at time of order and I will try my best to rectify it if I can.
