“Seconds” – Handmade fused glass Oceanside Cornwall Flag Coaster

Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections.
- The piece has two patches of “devit” marks on one of the black squares. Devitrification is where crystals develop on the surface of the glass but looks like a smudge/haze or fingerprint mark – that cannot be removed (please see circled photo).
Glass coasters add a touch of style and colour to any room around your home. Practical as well as decorative for your mugs, glasses, keys, jewellery, candles, and much more.
Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; there can be minor imperfections in the glass, these are created naturally in the kiln firing process.
