Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections.
#1 – This coaster has patches of Devitrification (aka devit) on some of the dark green stripes which look like scum/fingerprint smudges in certain angles of light that cannot be cleaned off – this occurs sometimes as the molecules in the glass change their structure into that of crystalline solids (please see circled photo).
Glass coasters add a touch of style and colour to any room around your home. Practical as well as decorative for your mugs, glasses, keys, jewellery, candles, and much more.
Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; there can be minor imperfections in the glass, these are created naturally in the kiln firing process.
