Handmade fused glass Woodland Dark Brown & Black Coaster

Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections. These were made for a Glassette Special Edition Project but my kiln elements were wearing out and causing “devit” on some black squares – it is where crystals develop on the surface of the glass but looks like a smudge/haze or fingerprint mark – that cannot be removed. There was quite a few of these coasters so some will have the devit marks in different places (see example photos). Hence the low price as the exact coaster received will differ slightly to the photos.

Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; there can be minor imperfections in the glass, these are created naturally in the kiln firing process.
