“Seconds” – Handmade fused glass White & Lavender Coaster

Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections.
- This piece has lots of tiny little dimples on the surface caused by the manufacturing process when the glass sheets are made at the factory (usually roller marks). I tend to single out these pieces when cutting before assembling and put them all in one coaster as some melt smooth and don’t show but some do. The surface is still glossy smooth.
Glass coasters add a touch of style and colour to any room around your home. Practical as well as decorative for your mugs, glasses, keys, jewellery, candles, and much more.
Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; minor imperfections in the glass can be created naturally in the kiln firing process.
