“Seconds” – Handmade fused glass Bullseye Black & Almond Striped Coaster

Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have a small imperfections.
- The piece has some “devit” marks on the one edge of the black stripe. Devitrification is where crystals develop on the surface of the glass but looks like a smudge/haze or fingerprint mark – that cannot be removed (please see circled photo).
Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every coaster unique.
The coaster you receive will be one of a kind; minor imperfections in the glass can be created naturally in the kiln firing process.
