“Seconds” – Fused Glass Pink & Pimento Red Dual Coloured Chequered Place Mat
Note: This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have a small imperfections to it or perhaps a test piece and therefore sold at a reduced price.
Why is this reduced price?
#1 – This placemat has 3 specs of kiln brick dust embedded into some of the squares (please see circled photo).
These have been handmade in my workshop in Cornwall UK.
Price is for 1 x Placemat.
Handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall, UK, these are perfect for presenting tableware. Please note that as this is made from glass, the surface is glossy and therefore some items placed on top may have less friction compared to standard placemats like slate or wood.
These placemats have been made with alternating hand cut glass squares and arranged neatly into a chequered pattern with a layer of clear glass underneath and fused together flat in the kiln to just over 800°c.
