Handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall, UK, these are perfect for keeping your jewellery/earrings, spare change, knick-knacks, car keys, candle, cosmetics or even snacks etc inside.
These bowls have been made with either white/coloured or dual alternating coloured hand cut glass squares. These are arranged neatly into a chequered pattern with a layer of clear glass on top and fused together in the kiln to just over 800°c. The glass is then placed back into the kiln and slumped into a square bowl shape making it beautiful and eye catching.
Having the layer of clear glass on top, makes these completely food safe, but does cause some natural small air bubbles to form which adds to the affect of being handmade.
Some colour combinations may react when placed side by side and fused together due to the glass materials inside (if there is likely to be a colour reaction with your chosen colours, I will advise you beforehand).
