Handmade fused glass Light Green & Streaky Dark Green Bottle Shaped chequered dish
These have been handmade in my workshop in Cornwall UK.

These dishes have been made with light green and dark streaky squares cut in to a bottle shape design and kiln fired to fuse it all together. It is then fired again in the kiln to slump it into the bottle shape giving it the depth and dish shape. Gravity decides on how this shape emerges which usually provides a nice slight tilt on one side. Each one has small rubber bumpons underneath to help level it and protect your surfaces.

Materials used, fused glass
Squares 30mm wide
Size 300mm (long) x 70mm (wide) x 30mm (high) and 6mm thick.
Weight is approx. 320 grams.
Oceanside Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the base, capped with clear glass on the top. Having the layer of clear glass on top, makes the surface completely food safe, adds a little depth to see the coloured glass, but does sometimes cause some natural tiny, small air bubbles to naturally form.
Bullseye Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the top, and the clear glass on the base. The coloured glass is more vibrant in these coasters, because it is not covered. All my products made before 2024 were Bullseye glass.
Can I mix the Bullseye and Oceanside glass colours? The short answer is no, these are two different types of glass and cannot be fused together, it will cause the glass to crack.
