These have been handmade in my workshop in Cornwall, UK

Made with alternating hand cut glass squares arranged neatly into a checkerboard pattern, with a layer of clear glass underneath, this piece is kiln fired twice to create the spoon shape.
The spoon rest you receive will be one of a kind, and you may notice some small differences from the photos, or minor imperfections in the glass; these are created naturally in the kiln firing process.

Oceanside Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the base, capped with clear glass on the top. Having the layer of clear glass on top, makes the surface completely food safe, adds a little depth to see the coloured glass, but does sometimes cause some natural tiny, small air bubbles to naturally form.
Bullseye Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the top, and the clear glass on the base. The coloured glass is more vibrant in these coasters, because it is not covered. All my products made before 2024 were Bullseye glass.
Can I mix the Bullseye and Oceanside glass colours? The short answer is no, these are two different types of glass and cannot be fused together, it will cause the glass to crack.
