Bullseye - Chequered Almond & Transparent Amber/White Streaky Fused Glass Coaster
These have been handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall, UK

Adding a dash of warmth and colour to any room, this coaster has been created with alternating opaque almond and transparent amber-white streaked glass. These 2cm glass squares have been arranged to create a checkerboard pattern atop a clear glass base before being fired and fused at temperatures of 800°c.
The amber transparent glass is uniquely designed with the addition of white swirls and artistic streaks. Therefore, each square of amber glass is completely unique, and the amount of white swirling will vary from piece to piece.

Squares approx. 20mm wide
Size approx. 100mm (long) x 100mm (wide) and 6mm thick

Oceanside Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the base, capped with clear glass on the top. Having the layer of clear glass on top, makes the surface completely food safe, adds a little depth to see the coloured glass, but does sometimes cause some natural tiny, small air bubbles to naturally form.
Bullseye Glass coasters will have coloured squares on the top, and the clear glass on the base. The coloured glass is more vibrant in these coasters, because it is not covered. All my products made before 2024 were Bullseye glass.
Can I mix the Bullseye and Oceanside glass colours? The short answer is no, these are two different types of glass and cannot be fused together, it will cause the glass to crack.
