“Seconds” – Handmade fused glass Lavender & Black Tray

Why is this reduced price? This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have small imperfections.
- These coasters have patches of Devitrification (aka devit) on two of the black squares which look like smudges/fingerprints in certain angles of light that cannot be cleaned off – this occurs sometimes as the molecules in the glass change their structure into that of crystalline solids (please see circled photo as example). This really only shows slightly when angled in certain light positions
Glass trays add a touch of style and colour to any room around your home. Practical as well as decorative for your keys, spare change, jewellery, candles, soap, and much more.
Each piece of glass is lovingly handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall UK; and kiln-fused at 800°c, making every dish unique.
