“Seconds” – Handmade fused glass Multi-Coloured chequered dish
Note: This is a “seconds” item, which is considered to have a small imperfections to it or perhaps a test piece and therefore sold at a reduced price.
Why is this reduced price?
I believe a tiny spec of kiln brick dust has fell onto one of the squares creating a small raised rough spot (about 1mm round) – Please see pics.
These have been handmade in my workshop in Cornwall UK.

Handcrafted in my workshop in Cornwall, UK, these are perfect for keeping your jewellery/earrings, spare change, knick-knacks, car keys, candle or even cosmetics etc inside.
Every one will be slightly different but will be similar to the photos and using the same hand cut multi-coloured squares in the same pattern. These are arranged neatly into a chequered pattern with a layer of clear glass underneath and fused together in the kiln to just over 800°c. The glass is then placed back into the kiln and slumped into a square bowl shape making it beautiful and eye catching.
