Handmade fused glass 27cm crackle bowl
These have been handmade in my home workshop in Cornwall, UK and fused together several times in a Kiln.

These bowls/fruit bowls are perfect for the kitchen or living room table or actually anywhere around the house.
Colours:
Inside – The rim is white with a dark outline around each islands due to the reaction of the glass powder. The centre is a blended mixture of white and blue almost resembling the sky and clouds
Outside – The rim is an off white with the centre being bright white with islands.
This bowl has been made from carefully sieved, layered glass coloured powders with different thickness to create the crackle colours. The powder is then capped with clear glass and kiln fired to fuse it all together. The next firing then slumps the glass into the bowl shape.
With a polished smooth glossy outside, the inside has been lightly sandblasted to a matt textured finish and four small rubber feet.
The edges have an organic, slightly wavy/curvy effect to finish the piece off.
